Tasty snack

The forecast wasn't wrong; there was a bitterly cold wind blowing throughout a day consisting of beautiful sunny intervals and snow showers with big chunky snowflakes. However, the snow didn't lie for any length of time.
My photo shows a special treat I had today, consisting of a piece of a rich fruit cake made by a friend, accompanied by a chunk of a new cheese from the Snowdonia Cheese Company I have discovered recently. It is called Red Storm and is reminiscent of a Red Leicester. Usually I am loyal to the local Isle of Mull Farmhouse Cheese which I love but it does one good to have a change.
