A day of contrasts

Our weather has been very interesting over the last couple of days. Sometimes large chunky flakes of snow have floated down past the window to settle on the lawn in a thin white layer, then the wind would come in gusts almost creating a blizzard. Then, hey presto, a few minutes later the sun would be shining from an almost cloudless brilliantly blue sky and the snow on the grass had melted. However, it wasn't T shirt weather in that beautiful (deceptive) sunshine. The wind was still biting, as if it was blowing straight from the Arctic!
