Don't Bother to Knock (1952)

Finally....

Have heard you a knockin'
for weeks and weeks,
and as my ears,
brought me near,
to that distinctive tappin'
I'd snap  a twig
or rustle a leaf.
and way you would go
so fast and fleetly, 
but today you were kind
to let me snap you from behind
