Dionysia tapetodes

This flower is so tiny but there are lots of them on a green cushion. It flowers in time for the annual show at the Alpine garden club, so I entered it a couple of years ago in the first competition I ever entered there.   Mine was the first cushion plant on the bench and I thought it was amazing. Two hours later, I saw what serious Alpine cushion plants look like. Mine was a quarter of the size of the others and had less than half the number
of flowers. It came fourth out of 4. It won't be going in any more competitions until its at least half a metre wide. It's about 11 centimetres now.
