We had lots today!

I woke at seven to find a light covering of fine snow outside and the hills near town white.   By nine it was all gone and a blustery day with sunny intervals and increasingly beefy wintry showers followed.   I worked this morning and we popped to the garden centre for some strawberry plants mid afternoon.   We'd spotted the latest shower approaching and decided it would be fun to head a little way inland for 'proper' snow.   Several more showers passed over in quick succession, the view constantly changing.   A somewhat abstract extra pic through the car window illustrates the nature of the changes ;-)

The house feels a bit empty without Ruth, even after Tim's time here with Jamie early evening when plans were made to renovate our old benches.   Getting out of the house is good therapy,  we could do with the warmer weather returning as the current icy blast makes venturing out less appealing.
