Colour splash

Waitrose pinks this week, but they’ve been joined by tulips and daffs flattened by these strange weather conditions.

Seriously freezing last night and my bushy, blowsy magnolia has turned that rusty colour in places. But still wonderful. 

My extra is our very tame robin singing his heart out in the bush under my bedroom window. He starts up well before five and comes back for a few encores as the day goes on. He’s also learned from the goldfinches how to launch himself onto the feeder for sunflower hearts. And he sees off creatures twice his size ...
