Freed - The Dunham Six are Out at Last

The HenTent has come down, the hens are finally free to roam.
They could have been freed at the beginning of the month but we have been out and about a bit and the weather was bad so I kept them in longer.
The white stuff in the bottom right corner is a pile of hail from yesterdays shower that had not melted, even in the morning sunshine.
The four rescued hens only had a few days freedom before they all had to be locked up so having access to the whole pen must be quite a treat for them. They are certainly running about and scraping around looking for bugs to eat
Hens don't smile but they do look happy. I like these guys, they make me laugh.
