Talking to trees

Golden autumn colours in Burradoo. One thing I learned from blipping last year – how long the autumn colours go on, as different trees go through their show on different timetables.
 
I wonder though if the leaves are falling more quickly this year? Once the leaves change colour it seems there are very soon more on the ground than are left on the tree.
 
Thinking about the trees started me humming the song from Paint Your Wagon,  ‘I talk to the trees’. That led me to discover that it was Eccles (in the Goons) who turned it into, ‘I talk to the trees, that’s why they put me away’. Amazing what you learn from blipping.
