Up the creek

We occasionally see pelicans at Lennox Head, but I think they prefer calmer water. This one was part of a small flotilla of pelicans cruising on the sheltered waters of North Creek in Ballina this morning. We got a fair amount of sunshine today. A few showers persisted, adding to the 200 mm of rain so far in April. And it's only day 8!
