First Flowers of 2021

Dear Diary,

I can always rely on my little Siberian Scilla to be the first flower in the yard.  These are growing on the south side of a low stone wall in front of the house.  It was so nice to see them.  Soon the daffodils will make their appearance and then I will feel spring is truly here.  John made good progress yesterday and Matt will be here tomorrow to set up the patio furniture, turn on the exterior water and bring St. Francis out into the garden, among other things.  By this weekend things will be looking pretty good around here!
