Stock Doves
While Jack was looking over my shoulder to see what I'd blipped today he asked me why I'd been photographing Pigeons, but I put him straight on that score and told him they weren't Pigeons but Stock Doves. Of course he's right really but there were lots of them about today and I thought they looked so striking. The two in the main blip were battling for control of the tree stump and the one in the forefront was duly bumped off.
It was a late sortie down to the reserve as I'd been to see Joanne for a podiatry appointment; it does me the world of good and - I always feel I could skip down the street afterwards. Thank you for stopping by and for the kind response to yesterday's shot.
