Tulips
The garden is slowly becoming more colourful, we now have just a few of these small Tulips, Daffodils and Anemones - all some of my favourite flowers but perhaps that's due to their bringing brightness after a drab winter. I went into town this morning and it was busier than of late and it felt more like it used to do, although there was evidence of the toll that the lockdown has wrought in that several shops were shuttered and closed. We haven't done much more today, and the weekend will be quiet too; I hope it will be milder and that we'll be able to spend at least some time in the garden.
RIP Prince Philip - someone who has been there all my life and for whom I had the greatest respect and affection.
