Tulip Curves

An interesting morning with the camera club Coffee & Chat session.  Members had sent in images of Spring in the Garden for a competition which I critiqued, holding back a selection.  It was then up to the members to decide the 'winners' through a Zoom poll - I had managed to get one set up although that did mean deciding on the hold-backs ahead of the critique.  Through the poll, votes were placed for Bronze, Silver and Gold awards; it all worked very well.  Another learning curve!

I have been researching another Lensbaby lens - the Velvet 56.  This can achieve the most amazing soft focus effects with the amount of image in focus determined by the aperture.  I ordered it through Wex (the best price) and it will arrive early next week - very exciting.  Meanwhile, I played around with various other lenses to capture tulips in close up (extra) and whole image.
