Pretty in Pink

Had to go out today so I took a few shots of the gorgeous pink flowering trees along the way. The pics on the bottom are definitely red buds. I guess the ones on top are some type of fruit tree. The weather was perfect again.
Sky was supposed to get off last night at 9:00 and her mom needed special protein shakes that are only available near the restaurant. My daughter is still on a liquid or purée diet and she can only eat a tiny bit several times a day. So she and her hubby decided to pick up the girl and grab the shakes. Unfortunately, the restaurant stayed open until 11:00 and of course, the store was closed.
I spent the day on the road. Got Mancil’s prescription corrected and taken to the pharmacy. Shopped for Kristen. Delivered the homemade mac and cheese and cookies to my brother-in-law for the dinner my mother was hosting for several members. Grabbed Chase and took him to get his new glasses. Made Sky’s dinner and took her from school to dance. All that’s left is bringing Sky home, take my daughter to get her shakes and clean up from dinner. A tiring day for sure. The men got up all the shiplap. They will trim it out and put up the railings tomorrow. Thanks for visiting. Blip has taught me to seek out the beauty of each new day.
