Holcombe

I went out earlyish with the idea of a seascape. I parked up and walked down Smuggler's Lane to the beach. I even carried my tripod, first time in a long while. Shame I didn't check that I'd got a plate on the bottom of the camera to fasten it on. Ah well, still got lots of lockdown habits to clear away.

Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and consort to the Queen passed on today. Here in the UK we quite liked the guy. He spoke his mind, often without thinking first and made a lot of gaffs, which mad us laugh, even though we knew it wasn't politically correct and we shouldn't. Most of all he's been there behind the throne for almost all of my life. RIP.
