No news today

I only walked 1.5 miles today - I called to see Chris with a scone. Rex jumped on me. (Rex is a dog in case any strange pictures sprang into your mind).

The Phone call from nurse re my foot was a waste of time as I knew what was wrong anyway. She’s offering a phone appointment with a physio, also a waste of time as they will refer me to a website for appropriate exercises which I’ve already done.

Mr C got a text to tell him to book his second jab so he’s going on Monday. Shame we can’t both go at the same time but I’m a few days behind him. #2 daughter aged 46 has got her first one on Sunday. Wish the teacher could get one asap.

And there is no news in the world because the Duke of Edinburgh has died. So that’s all that has gone on today. I have met him, having got my D of E gold at Holyrood. We were the first cohort of girls to be allowed to take part in the scheme. I was not impressed as it took place on my last day at school so I was missing all the fun with my friends, not to mention the staff v pupils tennis match which I would have played in. However I went as my mum was my guest and it was a big thing for her. As you see from the blip, she even kept my invite.
