Dry but cold again.
A shortage of staff as one texted in sick,then the lambing lassie headed off home to Shetland this afternoon.
Left Kev on mucking out and bedding cattle while I headed off down the road to spread fertilizer on the last field of winter barley. It had dried up enough underfoot thanks to the last week of frost's and howling north winds .
The sprayer in this morning doing 2 fields of newly sown barley with liquid fertilizer as I was using the bagged stuff on the winter barley.
This tree sits on the skyline and is well and truly windswept by the prevailing westerly wind.
