Between fen and mountains

St Clément de la Serra

I walked down to the market to the fish van. Patrique was in a foul mood as someone had parked a car preventing him getting access onto the square. Eventually the owner was found via the bush telegraph and the car was moved. Afterwards, we drove over to deliver a rose bush to Caroline to thank her for the table tennis table. We stopped on the bridge and walked to the Romanesque chapel for some exercise. It dates from the 10th century and still contains many offerings. We continued on to the church for the tolling of the tenor bell to mark the death of Prince Phillip. I marked each strike on a piece of paper to make sure we didn’t lose count. The afternoon was given over to planting out some more lettuces and marigolds and some solo ping pong practice.
