Pencoyd
Year 2 Day 18 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic. First UK Vaccine 124 days ago. England & Wales in partial lockdown.
Yesterday I did a 'booze run' for my brother (it's cheaper in England than Wales!) and they collected it on the way home from Hereford today after his partner had received her second jab there.
With the sun out but a bit chilly, I needed some cash for a furniture delivery tomorrow, and enjoyed a drive through local country lanes. Nearby is the lovely hamlet of Pencoyd (Herefordshire) and I stopped to take an aerial of St Denys Church.(14th c+) Opposite is Pencoyd Manor (17th century) (blip extra)
Getting back just before kick-off, I watched the Cardiff City FC v Blackburn Rovers match which ended 2-2. We were dreadful - again. The result virtually ensures we won't make the play-off's and will be playing another season in the Championship. Hopefully, we will be able to attend after about 18 months away.
