Clouds over Hoy (Day 2148)

An early start to get my beautiful wife in to town to catch the ferry across to Sanday meant I was able to get the weekly shopping done in Tesco and have it all put away before 730 this morning. Next on the list of stuff to do was sort through the pile of rubbish in the garage and start loading it into the truck to take to the dump. There was a bit more sorting out before a second dump run, then home for a bit of lunch and a wander with the dogs at Lyde. It was lovely to be out in the sunshine and with much lighter winds than we have had lately.
The afternoon was spent doing a bit of paperwork before a trip to town to collect HV from her adventures overseas.
