High Water
After our walk yesterday was cut rather short by the snow storm we decided a longer walk would be good today. There's a 6 km circuit we can do on the roads, so that was today's exercise. It can be boring walking on the roads but the forest and the forest tracks are either snow-covered or extremely soggy so the roads are the only option just now.
The local spring melt had filled this beck to the brim but today it had gone down a little, even if it was still about 5 times it's "normal" size. In the distance you can just see a blue box. That is the area I believe Jan is blipping today.
I spent a lot of time yesterday with the old, and very old, baking assistent machines. The very old one is now working much better but the parts I was hoping to swop were not compatible. On the newer machine the electronics are concentrated onto one circuit board, whereas the older machine has wires going hither and thither and electronic components similarly spread around. My knowledge of such things is very limited so I have no way of finding out what isn't working on the newer machine, though I suspect it is one of the circuit board components. Still I have one working machine, which is perhaps the most important thing!
Jan noticed this morning that there were new times available for Covid vaccinations so we are now booked in for our first jab, 10 days from now.
