Singing Greenfinch

The greenfinch is one of the birds I can now identify by its sound so it was good to be able to catch one actually singing. The extra is an attractive goldfinch with a bit (lot) of work in Lightroom to take out some distracting branches.

Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 Mile Virtual Challenge Update

Day 62 -  Dorset. 4 miles walked. 240.3 miles completed.


A walk along the A354 today through Charisworth and Thornicombe before finishing just short of Blandford St Mary. This gave me an excuse for a first virtual brewery visit for some time with a chance to go to the Hall & Woodhouse Brewery and virtual pints of Fursty Ferrett and Tanglefoot.
