Mocha Tea Golgi Apparatus
Day 2 post operation-
At the ward round it was decided I was fit enough for discharge home. The ambulance that was booked had fallen through so I was offered a transport by car, sitting reclined. The driver would stop en route so I could stretch my legs and relieve pressure on my spine.
I developed a migraine late morning, so lay on my bed in darkness. I was given some of my migraine meds which stopped it developing.
My kind nurse Victoria helped to change my dressing and packed my bag.
I was driven back to Dumfries by Charlie, an ambulance technician who had come back from retirement to help the NHS. A lovely chap.
It was lovely to get back home and see my partner and cat Cassie.
A made one of my favourite meals , vegetarian enchiladas with salad and soured cream.
I liked this ceramic piece of art work in one of the corridors in the Dept of Neurosciences.
