Morris Minor

Cold with sleety showers off and on. A pleasantly slow Sunday morning which sped up as lunchtime approached. Susan went up to collect Doreen and take her out for a quick drive up on the North Downs before bringing her down for lunch

We managed a walk this afternoon passing by St Nicholas Church at Otham where we had a quick chat with the owner of this lovely old Morris Minor. I have a soft spot for this car, although not this precise model. My parent’s first car was a 1959 black Morris, registration number 315 KRB. We travelled many miles as a family all over Shropshire and to the North Wales coast. Happy memories.

Looking forward to a FaceTime with son and grandson in California later this evening.
