This was a surprise!

Some days you go looking for a blip and other days it just appears on the doorstep......like today. We have had 4 episodes and the hailstones have melted in between.

This is the first Sunday in the return to normality. B was coaching athletics, so I was up by 9am to make breakfast before he left, then do ‘stuff’ afterwards. We have got into the habit during the pandemic of doing things first and having brunch about 11am. Well we weren’t going anywhere and we don’t need 3 meals a day, 2 will do. 

I’m in the ‘alteration’ mode at present. A couple of skirts in the unpicking stage and a bag that has been done (in extra). 

It was a present several years ago and not quite my thing so went into the cupboard. I need a cross body bag for my essentials now that we are beginning to get out and still need hands free for washing/jelling. The strap was too long but made up of short strips, so I have taken a section out of it. It will do fine until I decide if it is a longer term need and if so the shops will be open to make a purchase.
