First Dose

So the day finally arrived... The weather was fab and the whole process from arriving to departing was incredible slick.

Yet my personal journey to the Covid-19 vaccination has been an interesting one.

Initially I was not going to take it.. "Why should I put stuff into my body if I don't need it!" was the mantra that went round my mind and then about a month ago, we were all offered the vaccine thru work.

I refused at the time but it made me ask the question Why not?

So, like many folk, I'm very thankful for the friends that I have and therefore I decided to seek out some that may have been able to help me with that journey and I can safely say that the 2 that I predominantly spoke too,were tremendous in their reasoning to the questions that I had.

Since then I've had many a discussion with folk about the "rights" and "wrongs" of the Covid Vaccine but for myself, after the advice and answers to my questions, I had a peace that for me it was right that I should take the vaccine.

Today I received my first jab.
