Williamthorpe Nature Reserve

I had a short walk in the sunshine this morning whilst there was still a dusting of overnight snow.

This afternoon we had to deliver a parcel to Harriet so we stuck a pin in Google maps and came up with a rendezvous at Williamthorpe Nature Reserve - a reclaimed mining area which is just off the M1 near Chesterfield. 

We saw lots of wildlife including a number of swallows. A nearby Starbucks drive-through provided a much welcome coffee and cake afterwards.
