April snow showers

This morning was a strange walk. I managed to get out in time to do the walk and be back home and ready for the weekly 9am team video call. But, as I stepped outside, it was snowing and snowing quite heavily. It was too warm for the snow to settle on the pavements but it was lying on the cars parked in the neighbouring streets and it was settling on the grassy areas. I have previously taken pictures of the daffodils because they’ve looked lovely on the verges around here. I wonder how long they will last with this cold blast? By mid-morning almost any sign of snow had gone which was, probably, good for the people queuing outside the barber shop at the other end of the street. It’s the first day they are allowed to reopen and it looks like they’ve been doing a great trade all day.
