Gateway to the countryside

Well we had a dusting of snow this morning and it was decidedly chilly.

Stay at home morning working on my granddaughters birthday book. Story complete and now adding the images to go with the story. 5 pages complete only 21 more to go but it is surprising how one image can consume an hour or two of time.

Saw a woodpecker for the first time this morning and then it came back again in the evening. Too fast for me to get a shot off.

The Blip today reflects the potential for exploring all the footpaths around us.
