Happy Sixth Birthday, J!

Today was J’s sixth birthday and as a birthday treat, J and his cousins E & E went pony riding. They all just loved it!
J is in the centre of the above photo with E & E to his left and right. I wonder if the horse bug will bite and proper riding lessons will follow?
Maintaining the equestrian theme, MaggieD and I took a run up the Carron valley this morning and I just had to stop and take a photo of this little foal (today’s extra) in a roadside field. Still at the slightly wobbly stage, possibly only two or three days old, he/she pranced about a bit but stayed very close to mum.
