April (snow) showers

I didn't expect to wake this morning to find my car adorned with snow. It snowed quite heavily for a couple of hours this morning but it soon thawed as the temperature rose. It didn't get that warm though! So, mid-April, well into Springtime and around 25 miles from London, and we get snow. The snowdrops should have hung on a  bit longer rather than give way to the daffodils.
