Yardley Hill, looking south

A new part of Epping Forest  as three of us met up.  The strenuous walk to the top is well worth it.  The extra shows what might have happened to the forest if there had been no protest over the illegal enclosures of the "waste" land by greedy lords of the manor, with new housing estates encroaching into the woods.
