Kirkcudbright Stones

Today's the day ...................... to create a garden

In November 2020, I blipped some of the painted stones that people in Kirkcudbright had done during Lockdown.  At that point they had just been left in a long snake on St Cuthberts’ Church wall in the town - but it was hoped that eventually a permanent home could be found for them.

Well, I came across it today. It's a little garden at the side of the road with two new benches to sit on and relax.  The stones weave in and out of the planted areas - and it all looks lovely.

It's so nice to see that something good came out of all that creative work ....................
