The Pentlands

Another quality time day spent with L today.

We went to the Pentland Hills which is on our side of the border and climbed both East Cairn and West Cairn Hills along with H who experienced hillwalking for the first time.

I have to say both were on fine form and well behaved. L was like a little trooper and used her previous Munro bagging experience to pull herself up the 2 (smaller) hills.

H didn’t bat an eyelid at the sheep and lambs we had to negotiate a path through from the car park on the Lang Wang.

15km+ later and around 25K steps and we were back at the car with a little sunburn after forgetting the sun cream.

Also popped into my brothers in the evening as he’s 52 today. Good to catch up with him.
