The Estuary Sparkles.
I do like an occasional filter - this "watercolour " one works quite well on this shot which looked lovely as I drove along the the seafront. That was a passing shower cloud now scudding along the Kent coast whilst we had sunshine back on the Essex side of the Estuary. In truth it was an image that looked better as the human eye captured it and did not transfer very successfully into a digital image which disappointed me and so I added a Photoshop Elements filter which brought out the sparkle. Compositionally of course it is all wrong as the boats are facing out of the shot and I removed one that was too far to the right to make sense. Couldn't find parking spot so chanced a kerbside illegal space and risked a quick sprint across the road to grab this before the light changed which it almost had done.
Sunshine and showers, some hail and a very keen wind in from the North Sea.
