Where did you get that hat....
....Panama apparently - it's the genuine battered example.
May have a bit of a project in the offing. A new Member on the Allotments Committee wondered about introducing an archive of plotholders featuring a photograph and a short bio about them and their memories of allotment matters. Not something to be rushed into but I can't help myself from starting to "bookmark" some characters. With this in mind after complimenting this nearby neighbour, who is always ready for a chat, on his lovely battered Panama I thought I would pop back and grab my first portrait thinking this could be handy for some Camera Club images. People just don't feature in my photography and it's time I got over any awkwardness about asking - makes it easier perhaps if you explain about the project. First lesson learnt is try and grab a shot before you have asked the question because undoubtedly this will be the better shot....so with my long lens on I grabbed this one and it was a lot better than the one he posed for me in front of his shed. Just a start of something new.
Extra is another, more considered effort, of the forget-me-nots.
