Roof be gone

The end of the week, and the roofer has removed the roof, slates, hooks, zinc sheeting, battens, rafters and purlins - all gone. We now have a bit of green plastic over the floor, and while it's been dry all week, we're expecting rain tomorrow... Next week the masons will remove the concrete blockwork and patch the stone work. Once the current structure is made sound they will work on the ground floor - where the access is terrible but they are confident they can get in...!
