Frog Spawn!

A wonderful day today with the family. Much of it spent in scruby woodland - one of my favourite placed to be. My boy found frog spawn - the photo.

He also pulled a dead frog out the water with sticks and investigated. He tells me the female dies as she lays the frog spawn. This one did seem to have frog spawn still in her insides....might have to check that on the internet.

Was torn between the above and additional shot so went with them both.
