Burn amongst the birches

What beautiful weather we have had this week and it has turned warmer as the week has progressed. Today's walk was on a track that I hadn't been on for a number of years so it was enjoyable to see the views from a different perspective. We came across this burn, sparkling in the sunshine, running through an delightful patch of birch woodland with silver trunks twisting and turning in all directions.
