Way Out

Many of the restaurants around here have expanded outside, by taking over two or three parking spaces to build little decks on the street. The Governor passed special legislation to allow this, to expand outdoor dining options during the pandemic. We were sitting across the street on just such a deck when I realized our deck was nowhere near as special as the version across the street. Our deck didn’t have a door.
