North Birsay Cliffs

I haven't been along this stretch of cliffs for a couple of years. I walked up Costa Head and then west. It is now designated as part of 'The St Magnus Way' and there are a couple of handy gates where you used to have to clamber over fences or walls before. A single wheatear and great skua were spring migrants. Also around- ravens, hen harrier, razorbills, gannets etc. At the end of the walk I got another migrant- my first sand martins of the year-4 zooming around too fast for me to photo..
