We were inspecting the Lady’s Slipper Orchids! You have to get close to find the tips of the plants coming through, so that they can be protected with copper rings. This gives them a little defence against slugs!
We found several, they are slow growing this year because of the cold weather and continued dry conditions. Hopefully there will be a few flowers to see due to the devoted care they are receiving!
