Riverside path

This morning we went for a beautiful walk alongside the river Eden in the opposite direction to our normal walk.  The well worn path shows how much it has been used for exercise during the Covid local lockdowns.

The river was flowing peacefully but evidence of the height it rose to during the February heavy rains can be seen from the straw washed from the fields hanging on the branches and fences .
