Brave blossom

Still mild, but dull and grey today. When I took Rosie for a walk this afternoon I didn't even take the camera, so this was taken with my iPhone. The blossom looked so delicate and fragile - will it survive the wintry blast that's predicted next week?

I always feel March is a fickle month - one day you feel spring's not far away, and the next you can be plunged back into winter. Still at least a spell of cold, grey weather will help me concentrate on the remaining reports before the field season truly arrives!
