Renmark tonight!

After an amazing drive across the Hay Plains and through Mildura we arrived at Renmark on the Murray River in good time this afternoon.  I just love this part of the world and to top off a great day, we discovered a wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of the town.  The Mallee Estate Winery restaurant Eleni’s was fantastic.  We met Eleni, an amazing Greek woman who had come out to Australia in 1963 at the age of 15.  Honestly, it was the best Greek food I’ve ever had and I told Eleni we were only going to visit Renmark if it was on a day they were open!! We have a much easier day tomorrow.  Only a short driving stint before we arrive at the historic town of Burra in the Clare Valley.
