Wound up in Wexford

One or two flowers finally opened in the sunshine today.  Still many more to come.  Like everything else, it's later this spring than last year.

W has pressed on with constructing the fruit cage and moving the blueberries and strawberries into the larger raised bed.  I can't get up much enthusiasm for working in the garden at the moment - even in the sun it remains chilly, due to a real nip in the wind.  Trouble is, when it does finally warm up, I'll then complain about the heat!  So I am pottering along in the studio making fiddly little ornaments for the advent calendar.
