Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve

We met up with my parents for a walk around the big lake this morning. It was calm and the sky was big and blue. Just right.

Later this afternoon L and I made millionaire’s shortbread but I rather overdid the caramel layer and so we have a rather chewy toffee version. We must remember to be careful of our teeth when we eat it. The recipe said we should heat and stir until it thickened... but it didn’t give any other clues!
