Fried garlic and half-sweet dills. This is a single side serving (for an army) of Pete's house special at D. B. (stands for Daytona Beach, of course) Pickles Restaurant. Horse radish mayonnaise dipping sauce. Pete makes great deli-style stuff. Also the world's best carrot cake which is served in heart-stopping (literally) portions. And if you know him well enough you can get the fresh out-of-oven croissant stuffed with cannoli filling (Pete is a good Italian who uses mama's recipe) and topped with homemade raspberry sauce with bitter chocolate shavings. No sugar in that!
