A Mink or an Otter?
We think a mink!
Frank was changing the gas bottle today and saw this mess in the gas hatch.
A mixture of shell, other food stuff and poo.
I put this photo on the Facebook Narrowboat page and loads of people said mink.
Frank had a difficult job putting the new window units in but they're done now.
It's been really hot today, to hot for gardening for me. Instead I cleaned the galley and then sat outside for a bit then sewed some Covid masks as the other ones are getting past their best.
At last the government is putting a ban on flights from India but again too late, the variant is already here! I do feel sorry for those who would have been excited to be going to India to see their loved ones but can't risk not being allowed back in. I know how I would feel. There will also be British Business people stuck.
I also worry that these 'foreign' variants cause mistrust of people from these countries which then lead to racism. As if it's anyone's fault that the virus mutates and is so damned clever at it!
We are so lucky in the UK that we are getting the vaccines. For many, in other parts of the world, there is not enough to go round.
This bloomin' Covid when will it end?
Book and bedtime now.
Goodnight :-) X
