Waiting impatiently

The election results should come out today. Yes, finally, today. I woke this morning to find that the lead candidate had only 49.7% of the votes cast and we need to ensure that the lead candidate garner 50%+1. It will surely be a nail-biting race to the finish.

The roads were a bit busier this morning which is a good sign that people are going back to work. There was an announcement to government officials to go back to the office to serve the nation. But in this office of mine, we are still very few making productivity below normal.

But we had a nice rain this morning. Here is a close of up the palm tree. I tried to get them bloomin monkeys on camera but they were camera shy.
